Mark passed on April 17, 2021 in Woodruff, WI.

Proceeded in death by his parents Melvin and Sylvia (Masztalerski) Freitag. Survived by his wife Nancy Freitag, brothers Jeff Freitag (Brenda Phillips), Larry (Donna) Freitag, Peter (Jane) Freitag and Greg (Kathy) Freitag and 13 nieces and nephews.

Mark worked as a machinist at Harnischfeger for 30 years. He made many friends while working there. While employed there, he was active in the Sports club and golf league. He continued to golf on their golf league after his retirement.

Mark was an avid fisherman, golfer and deer hunter. He also enjoyed working on classic cars and was a big dog lover who was very fond of his young Golden Retriever. Mark loved going to his families' vacation home near Eagle River, WI where he enjoyed fishing on the lake and the up north atmosphere. A memorial gathering will be held Monday April 26th from 10:30 to noon, followed by a service, at Hartson funeral home.
