Mark Paul Milosch of Greenfield WI passed away on Thanksgiving Morning November 23, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family and friends after a courageous hard-fought battle with cancer at the young age of 49.
Mark leaves behind his parents, David and Judith; three children, Rebecca (husband Andries), Destiny, Austin; brother, Dean; nephews and niece, Jacob, Nicholas, Mitchell, Nathan, Isabella.
Mark's life embodied his favorite quote "There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes." Born June 11, 1974, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mark is the youngest son of David and Judith.
At a young age, Mark's passions were Star Wars, science fiction and music. Entering high school, Mark met his lifelong friends who enriched his enthusiasm of music and fostered his caring nature. Together they formed a band and created music that they still cherish. The day before Thanksgiving his friends visited, and Mark's concern of others was evident when he donated his music equipment to help an outreach program for the community youth.
Music might have been Mark's passion, but the purpose of his life was being a loving, dedicated and supportive father to his children Rebecca, Destiny and Austin. They spent countless time together playing games, watching movies, reading, and exploring in addition to each getting their own special days. Mark traveled with his children often to explore Wisconsin and Illinois and would visit his parents in Florida, however one of his favorite memories was his opportunity to travel to Italy just prior to his diagnosis.
Although Mark's time with us was short, the number of lives and hearts he touched is undoubted by the family and friends that visited and their countless stories about their adventures and time with Mark. His kindness and generosity were seen as he continued to focus on others and how he could enhance people's lives even after his passing.
Mark's love for family was displayed on Thanksgiving morning when asked for his family to make sure that he could say "I love you" one last time.
Mark's legacy is not only his kindness, caring and dedication to family and friends. It is giving us the knowledge to live life and "There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes."
Services will be held on January 13, 2024, from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Road, Hales Corners, WI 53130
