Marlene Heidenreich, age 85, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Zilber Family Hospice with her loving family by her side.

She was born October 31, 1938, in Milwaukee, daughter of Mary (nee Frank) and Gilbert Hafemann.
Marlene married Jerry, August 8, 1959, in Rockford, Il. Together they raised three children in the Milwaukee area. Marlene was a homemaker for a good part of her life – then went back to school for her LPN degree. She retired from Milwaukee County Mental Health Center.

She loved to garden, feed her birds, hosting family holiday gatherings, Packer parties, watching the Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jerry and Marlene enjoyed wintering in Siesta Key, FL and hosting family in Florida.

Marlene is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jerry, three children: Stacy (Rick) Duranso, Brady (Lisa) Heidenreich and Kerry (Donald) Franszczak; eight grandchildren: Austin Stevens, Katelyn (Lucas Nowicki) Duranso, Jonathan (Anna Hayes) Duranso, Brady Heidenreich II, Melissa (Jacob) Dykstra, Amber (Connor Ryder) Heidenreich, Shannon (Mike) Miller and Heather (Thomas Fera) Franszczak. Great-grandchildren Isabella, Jaxon, Caleb, Viviana and Stella.
She will be sadly missed by her fur-baby, Sydney.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
