Entered into the arms of Jesus while surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 18, 2016. She was born August 14, 1932 in Milwaukee to the late Bronislaus "Barney" and Aloise "Alma" (Polski) Lewinski. She married Dominic John Albanese in Milwaukee on June 2, 1951 at Our Lady Queen of Peace. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1997. They were blessed with 9 children. Loving mother of Christine Watts, Mary (Bill) Mackey, Dominic (Jean) Albanese, the late Anthony "Tony" Albanese, Annette Albanese, Luann Albanese, the late Carol Albanese,Cathy (Perry) Radtke, and Paul Albanese (Lena). Cherished grandmother of Theresa (David) Marshall, Mary (Dan) Ewing, Ann (Joe) Wirtz, John Paul, Olive, and Bernadette "Birdie" Watts; Gina (Scott) Schiek; Dave (Kim) Kelly, Erica Albanese, and Brenda (Chris) Konczal; April Threlkeld; Anthony Florczak; Tyler, Josh, and Cailey Radtke; Paul, Dominic, and Isaiah Padron. Great-grandmother of 26. Further survived by brother Joe (Lois) Lewinski, sisters-in-law Sue Lewinski and Gloria Lezala, brother-in-law Merlin Flemion, special godson Jimmy Flemion, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her husband Dominic J., son Tony and daughter Carol, grandsons Michael and Kyle, and siblings: Sylvia (the late Richard) Cady, Leonard (the late Ann) Lewinski, Virginia "Ginny" Flemion, Conrad Lewinski, Adrian "Buddy" Lewinski, and Robert "Bob" Lewinski. Mary Ellen was devout in her faith, and was a member of Oak Creek Assembly of God for over 30 years. She had a passion for gardening and was a member of the South Shore Garden Club for many years. She also enjoyed baking with her grandchildren, painting, and spending time with loved ones. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 23, at Oak Creek Assembly of God, 7311 South 13th St., Oak Creek from 10 am to noon. A memorial service will follow at 12pm.
