Mary Ann Mikaelian, 82, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2017 at The Villa at Lincoln Village after a short battle with cancer. Mary was born in Racine, WI on March 3rd, 1935. She was employed for over 20 years at Shopko, retiring in the year 2000. She enjoyed gardening and planted beautiful flowers every spring. Mary was the happiest when her family would visit her on their vacations. She loved them all and missed them very much. Preceding her in death was her grandmother Jessica Abadjian, parents George and Adrienne Mikaelian, niece Laurie Mikaelian (her godchild), brother-in-law and sister, Ken and Ione Felbab, nephew Chris Felbab, and brother-in-law, Greg Srabian. Mary will be greatly missed by her family: sister, Leone Srabian from Orlando Park, IL and nephews, Gregory (Jennifer) Srabian from Boca Raton, FL and Garo Srabian from IL, and her brother and sister-in-law, Myron (Mike) and Elizabeth Mikaelian (FL/CA), nephew, Jason Mikaelian, and nieces, Lisa (Charles) Daniels and Talynne (Gyasi) Henderson, all from CA. Also surviving are her great-nephews and great-nieces, Richie, Mary (her godchild) and Johnny Srabian, Holly Daniels, and Alynnah and Jaydah Henderson. A visitation will take place on Saturday June 24th at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Rd. Hales Corners 53130 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at the Villa at Lincoln Park and of Hospice Alliance for their kindness and care of Mary during her stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the American Cancer Society.
