It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Rink (née Harvieux) announce her sudden passing on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the age of 79.

Mary was born September 17, 1946 in St Paul, MN to the late Walter and Magdalene Harvieux. Mary moved to Milwaukee in 1954 where she attended St Pius X grade school and graduated from Holy Angels Academy in 1965.

Mary was united in marriage to Roger Rink on June 25, 1977 in Milwaukee. They moved to Germantown where they raised two daughters: Stephanie (Geoff) Dimin and Erica (Tim) Mier; and five dogs: Brandy, Cody, Bentleigh, Hunter and Jake.

Mary and Roger enjoyed spending time with family and went on frequent trips to Fremont, Wisconsin, where they would go boating, fishing and enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the river. Mary was a proud and loving grandmother to three granddaughters: Kyla, Emily and Marlee. Once she became a Nana, she devoted her time and energy to the grandchildren reading, coloring and visiting many parks.

Mary dedicated her life to the Healthcare field. She retired from Aurora Health Care after being employed there for 30 years. She was a very social, positive person and she would speak to anyone.

She was a loving sister of her twin Margaret Reeves, John (Marcia) Harvieux, Nancy (Stan) Kent, and the late Anne Harvieux and Bernard Harvieux.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will be missed by many.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Mary Rink on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Alioto's (3041 N Mayfair Rd, Wauwatosa, WI). Visitation will be held starting at 11:00 am. Everyone is invited to enjoy a meal in Mary's honor starting at noon.

The family is extremely grateful to the staff at High Point Residence North in Germantown for the care they provided in Mary's last months.
