Mary Ann Tate February 12, 1943-January 16, 2018 Mary Ann Tate, age 74, died peacefully on January 16, 2018 at her home in Greenfield, Wisconsin after struggling with chronic pain and other medical issues. Mary Ann was born February 12, 1943 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to the late Margaret Kutha and was adopted and raised by her loving parents Edwin and Mary Johnson (nee Kleinschmidt) who also preceded her in death. She spent most of her youth living in Oshkosh, Wisconsin before moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Juneau High School in 1961 where she volunteered to be "Attendance Monitor" and her high school yearbook indicates "She's always bright and gay, even on the dullest day." Mary Ann was a bit of a self-proclaimed wild child. Most of Mary Ann's career was spent working as a personal banker at Associated Bank f/k/a Farmer's & Merchants Bank. She was a people person which drove her success. Maryann's customers and co-workers adored her. Mary Ann raised her two loving children, Jeffrey T. Kops, 49 and Julie A. Beaumont (nee Tate), 44 in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. She opened the doors to anyone and "adopted" many friends and family as her own, especially our cousin from Michigan, Traci Morin. In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and socializing with her friends. During one of her many trips to U.P. Michigan to visit with her beloved Kutha relatives she discovered her Passion family. Mary Ann loved to gamble, especially playing Keno and dance with her dear friends while listening to her favorite band. Mary Ann is survived by her sister, Ellen Rose and her husband Bruce Newton, her nephew Brian and his children of Thorton, Colorado; son Jeffrey T. Kops (Tammy); daughter Julie A. Beaumont (Nick); grandchildren John Joseph-25, Nickolas Brian-23, Ryan Thomas-17, Isabella Josephine-16; preceded in death by grandson Cody Samuel Beaumont. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and dear friends. Memorial service will be held at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W Janesville Rd, Hales Corners, WI 53130 on February 1, 2018. Visitation 2-4 with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golf Fore Wolfe. The family wishes to thank all who have been there for her and the family.
