Maureen (Moe) Anderson passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at the age of 81.
Maureen is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Dennis Anderson, her son, William (Bill) Goralski, her brother, William (Bill) Hamilton, and a great grandson Blaine, along with her "fur" ever pet dog BG and other family and friends.
She is survived by her sister Mary Dunlap, of Milwaukee, her daughter Cheryl (Randy) Boehles of Muskego, Debbie (Jim) Fuhrman of Hortonville, and Steve (Dawn) Goralski of West Bend. Ten grandchildren, Robyn, Katherine, Rebekha, Randall (Haley), Jason, Justin (Genna), Jessica (Eric), Steven (Karli), Krystal (Tom), and Ryne, in addition to 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Maureen was born on June 6th, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI. After her high school graduation, she married and raised 4 children before meeting her true soul mate, Dennis. Maureen and Dennis were married on July 17th, 1978. After their marriage they moved to DeSoto, Kansas for a brief time and then back to Wisconsin where they laid down their permanent roots.
Moe enjoyed being showered with love and affection by her husband Dennis with jewelry, motorcycle rides, vacations, and memory making activities. Her hobbies included, but were not limited to, crocheting, knitting, crafting, baking, and spending time with family and friends. She also was blessed with the gift of singing and enjoyed listening to music. It was not uncommon for Maureen to BLAST CHRISTMAS music in July to remind everyone that the best time of the year was coming! Moe's deep faith is what helped her through the last four years of her life without Dennis by her side. In addition, Maureen fought and survived breast cancer and leukemia.
The family would also like to recognize the exceptional care given by the nursing staff on the hospice unit of ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
The family will be having a private ceremony per Maureen's wishes.
