Reverend Maurice R. Olson, 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, August 23, 2014. Loving husband of Esther (nee Vuori) Olson for 49 years; Beloved father of Terry (Debby) Olson; Proud grandfather of Jessica Howard, Mellissa Winter, and Jacob (Lisa) and Joshua (Emily) Olson; Proud great-grandfather of Alyssa and Garrett Howard, Gabrielle Winter, and Stella Olson; Cherished brother of Doris (Oscar) Garcia; further survived by nephew David (Janet) Sather, nieces Mary (David) Keough and Carol (Don) Horack, and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Roy and Louise (nee Cornelius) Olson, daughter Wendy Winter, sister Evelyn Sather, and nephew William Sather. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral service at 7 PM. Interment will take place at Maple Grove Baptist Cemetery in Barron, WI.
