Obituary

Maxwell J. Tesch
April 19, 1995 – June 20, 2025

With profound sadness, we share that our precious Maxwell "Max" J. Tesch, age 30, passed away on the first day of summer, June 20, 2025 after a several year battle with a seizure disorder.

He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and fearless friend whose life left an enduring mark on all who knew him.

Max was born on April 19, 1995, to Laura and Chris Tesch in Milwaukee, WI. From an early age, raised in Muskego, Max brought light and laughter into the world with his kind heart, sharp wit, and gentle spirit. He will be remembered for his compassion, determination, and loyalty.

He is survived by his adoring parents, Laura and Chris Tesch, and his devoted brothers, Alexander and Nathan, who cherished every moment spent with him. He is also survived by his grandparents, Carol "Nana" Nygren, Chet and Ellen Nygren, Lee Tesch (Sandy Hornick), his aunts and uncles, Noelle Przybilla (Joel), Corine Tesch, Cheryl Tesch, Collin Tesch and Chean (Pam) Tesch, as well as many beloved cousins, David Malchow Davis (Daniel), Matthew Davis, Shannon Adams (Kyle), Carissa Cash (Marshall), Kyle Jessmon, Kayla Tesch-Hertlein (Nick), Ashli Phillips (Marco La Licata), Amy, Haley and Connor Tesch, Anthony and Jayden Przybilla, his adored dog, Gloria, and by many extended family members and dear friends who were touched by his warmth and contagious sense of humor.

In his 30 years, Max traveled to four different continents, eighteen countries, and forty different states, including Washington D.C. He participated in multiple mission trips both here and abroad, touching the lives of many.

Children everywhere were drawn to him. He was a natural athlete who could effortlessly do almost anything, including giving the most fabulous hugs. He spent his time working at "the shop", volunteering, listening to music, reading (recently re-reading the Harry Potter series), snowboarding and playing frisbee golf.

He also enjoyed playing games with his brothers and friends. Max lived with veracity and relished every moment of his life. Max recently shared his belief that life here on earth is just a "blink" and we will meet each other again in eternity.

"Blessed are the pure in heart because they will see God." Mathew 5:8
