Meribeth "Beth" Engelfried, age 74 of Beavercreek, OH formerly of Milwaukee, WI, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 26, 2018. She was born July 6, 1944 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to James and Rosella (Dobrinski) Hodges. Meribeth married William "Bill" Engelfried on September 27, 1969 in Milwaukee, WI. Beth worked in retail management with Boston Store in Milwaukee, where she worked as the Housewares and Fine China Manager. She was an avid book reader, she never met a stranger and was always the" life of the party". Beth enjoyed having breakfast with friends and visiting the casinos with her daughter Kirsten. She traveled frequently back to Milwaukee to spend time with her grandkids and family, who she loved dearly. Beth will be greatly missed by all. Beth is survived by a daughter, Kirsten Engelfried; a son, Rick (Jenny) Engelfried; two grandchilden, Ethan and Alison Engelfried; a brother, Terry (Kyle) Hodges; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bill. Private services will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
