Binter, Michael "Sky" Mike passed away Friday, February 11, 2011, at St. Joseph Medical Center, surrounded by family; he, is now, reunited with his mother Juanita. Born July 12, 1955, Mike's death exemplifies the term "truly at peace", having been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis twenty years ago while still a very young man, progressively became severely affected. But what we recall today is the young man who attended Sacred Heart Military Academy in Watertown, WI, following the school's relocation to Indiana and graduating from the then renamed Le Mans Academy, John Marshall High School and MATC. Who became a certified welder, a first class boiler operator and a pilot. While many dream of wealth and others of influence as an avid fisherman he dreamed of Muskies and St. Croix fishing rods; wanting to spend his life in the north woods and on the lakes of Boulder Junction, WI. He is survived by his father Rudolph, his two sisters, and brother as well as other family members and friends. Mike, at times, provided moments of great concern for family but faith in family always was his bridge home. He is missed at this very moment, his memory lives strongly with us and will. You now fly higher, faster and longer than any winged craft you piloted in this life. Set your course straight up brother, while your body can not, could not, your spirit has boundless energy it soars, heaven awaits. We wish to thank Dr. Dinavahi for his kind care. To those at Bradley Rehabilitation who rendered kindness and compassionate care we thank you.Memorials:Memorials appreciated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.Service:Family and friends may gather at Holy Cross Cemetery at 10:45AM this Thursday for a graveside service, Pastor Wm. Gaethke officiating.
