Lambert, Mildred L. Died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday morning, January 27, 2010, at the age of 96. Preceded in death by her husband Fred Lambert, she is survived by her daughters Louise and Lynda, and sons-in-law Kenneth Andries and Dale Skaggs of Milwaukee; her sister Agnes Tullis of Salem, OH; granddaughter Michelle (John) Shutt and great-granddaughter Catherine (Katie) Shutt of Columbia, SC; stepson Robert (Etta) Lambert of New Jersey; plus an extended network of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many close friends. Born in West Virginia , she lived in Ohio, New Jersey and Illinois before moving to New Berlin 16 years ago. Millie was an avid gardener, and did fine needlework, tatting and quilting. Over the years she made dozens of christening shawls for babies of family members and friends which are treasured special keepsakes.Memorials:In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Growing Power, Inc., of Milwaukee .Visitation:A celebration of Millie's life will be held at the Hartson Funeral Home this Saturday, January 30.
