Miriam Melzer, 100, of West Allis, Wisconsin went peacefully to her heavenly home on May 13, 2024.

Miriam was born in January of 1924 to Martha and Edward Klotz in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Miriam graduated from Bay View High School in 1942. She married Stanley Melzer after he returned from the war in June of 1945. Miriam and Stanley had two children, Linda and Keith.

Miriam worked faithfully over the years at Heinemann's Bakery, Rexall Drugstore, Blunt Ellis & Loewi, Burlington Memorial Hospital and Grace Bible Church. Miriam also worked alongside Stanley in his store, Stamps of the World.

Miriam is survived by Linda (Scott) Zunker, Keith (Cheryl) Melzer, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Miriam was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley.

A private family service was held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at Grace Bible Church, 2643 South 117th Street in West Allis on Saturday, June 22nd.

Visitation from 1-2pm. Service at 2pm followed by light refreshments

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Bible Church are appreciated.
