Nancy Evon Knutson (née Morarie), loving wife, precious daughter, wonderful mother of 5 children, and doting grandmother of 7, has peacefully passed on from this Earth to join her father and brother to be with God April 9, 2019 at the age of 66. She was born and raised in Bolivia to missionary parents. In the states, she graduated from New Tribes Bible Institute in Michigan and became an LPN in Little Rock, Arkansas. She raised her family in Bolingbrook, Illinois and Fredonia, Wisconsin.
Nancy loved the Lord and took great pride in being a grandmother. Her hobbies included collecting antiques, knitting and sewing, and playing hymns on her piano and accordion.
One if her favorite verses in the Bible was from 2 Chronicles 20:15
"...Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle [is] not yours, but God's."
She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Morarie, and her brother, Howard (Julia Moraire). She is survived by her mother, Maxine Morarie, and her siblings, Michael, Mark, Carol, Tricia, and Julia. She is also survived by her children Jennifer, John, Timothy, Kristina, and Kurt (Sarah), and grandchildren, Noah, Alannah, Levi, John Ross, Emma, Geneva, and Margo. Her memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 28th, 2019, City Church, 2313 N. 31st Street, Sheboygan, Wisconsin 53083. Visitation will start at 3 PM with a service to follow at 4 PM.
