WIND LAKE - (Nee Terzis) Age 46, transitioned from this earthly life to her heavenly home on October 4, 2024 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was at her home in Wind Lake surrounded by her family.

Nikki left us way too soon. She had such a zest for life and an infectious smile and laughter.

Nikki was the first person to reach out and help others whether it was family, neighbors, or a stranger.

She adored her family and had nicknames for most everyone.

Nikki and her husband, Rick, met when they were 16 years old and both worked at Wendy's. It was "love at first sight." They officially started dating in 1999 and were married on October 21, 2000.

Nikki graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Communications. At a very young age she had a deep passion and love for writing that continued on throughout her life.

Loving wife of Rick. Devoted mother of Hunter, Marek and Genevieve. Beloved daughter of David and Cheryl Terzis; daughter-in-law of Diana Ackerman and Warren (Judi) Ackerman. Dear sister of Lindsey (Jeremy) Haese. Further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to her church families: Faith Bible Church and Discover Church (where she served in Arise Ministry for 14 years) for their loving support.

Nikki always felt that her greatest accomplishment in life was being a mom to her children.

A memorial gathering will be held at Faith Bible Church, 4175 S. 112th Street, Greenfield on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10 am until the time of the service at 2 pm with Pastor Terry Angles presiding over the memorial service. Following the service all are invited to stay for a luncheon that will be held in the church cafeteria.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
