Norbert Frank Leet, former resident of New Berlin, WI, age 91, died peacefully in Algoma Long Term Care Unit in Algoma, WI on February 18, 2016. Norbert is survived by his children, Mark and wife Elizabeth (nee Wucinski), Richard, Dennis and wife Margaret (nee Hintz), daughter-in-law Carol Jean(nee Gustafson), Carol and husband Kevan Anderson, John, Barbara and husband Thomas Ellingsworth, David and fiance Magnolia Taylor, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Corrine (nee Biwer) and husband James Sokol, sister-in-law Sylvia McDiarmid (nee Biwer) along with nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Alvina (nee Biwer), brother Roy Leet and wife Penny, brothers-in-law Riley McDiarmid, Vince and Danial Jr. Biwer and son James. Norbert was born on May 26, 1924 in Milwaukee. After graduation he served in the Army during World War II in Germany. He worked for many years as a salesman at Best Engineering. In his retirement he moved to Las Vegas for 16 years. On moving back to WI he lived in Algoma with his daughter Barbara and son-in-law Tom and later transferred to Algoma Long Term Care Unit. Norbert was a great family man and loving father. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and Las Vegas. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind, good natured, and giving person. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Fri. Feb. 26th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Funeral service 12:30 pm.
