Norma was a generous and caring woman to all who knew her. She loved cooking everyone's favorites, her flower gardens and the Packers. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals, as she always let Diane keep the strays she brought home. She loved having the ladies in for ceramics and friendly chit chat.

Norma and Bill were high school sweethearts in Pittsburgh, PA, where they were married and lived until Bill was transferred to Kansas City Kansas. Two years later they moved to Hales Corners WI, where they remained and raised 2 children; Ken Martin and Diane Martin Wakeland. Bill passed away in 2004.
Norma went to secretarial school in Pittsburgh and worked for a company called Koppers. After moving to Wisconsin Norma worked for Cade Homes as a secretary, for 30 years.
Daughter of Louis Hunt and Mary Dinkel Hunt, Norma was the youngest of six girls. They are now reunited and probably causing mayhem.
Norma was an incredible grandma to Michelle Meyer (Greg), Jackie Maldari (Je:), Ashley Wakeland and Jenna Martin. Norma had six great-grandchildren; Alex, Kristen, Claire, Will, Brianna & Je:rey.
For the last three years Norma has lived with Diane, where she shared her gardening skills and advice. There were also many enjoyable nights playing games. Rummikubes was the favorite. Norma was sharp up until the end and frequently won.
