Dr. Norman Albert Hoeffleur, 89, left us in peace on Friday July 24th, 2015. Husband of Carol, who left us way to soon in June of 1992. He is survived by his son Greg, granddaughter Nicole, his son Jacques, granddaughter Kathryn, and many other close family and friends. Dr. Hoeffleur grew up in Chicago, IL, lived in Lausanne Switzerland in the fifties, and graduated from Medical school in Chicago in 1964. His medical practice in West Allis, WI was started in 1965. He lived in Orchard Hills, a sub division in West Allis until 1990, and ultimately retired, living in Delafield, WI. He was a member of the AMA and was the president of the Milwaukee District Osteopathic Physicians Association for many years. From his youth Norm loved auto racing, and was a past-president of Corvettes D' Elegance, a Corvette club in Milwaukee. He raced cars from the sixties to 1983 in what's now called GT-1 and S-2000 class all over the mid west, including Wisconsin's Elkhart Lake Road America, and was a member of the SCCA. Norm was also an accomplished jazz pianist. Norm was a driven and successful person that enjoyed many accomplishments, and was always blessed with many wonderful friends. Anybody that knew him experienced an interesting and charming person that had the personality of a stand up comedian. He was a romantic who had an eye for beauty and lived life with a passion. Prends soin de toi. Au revior. At the request of Dr Norman Hoeffleur, no services will be held. He wishes to be remembered as he was known in life.
