Norman C. Poberezny passed away peacefully at the age of 95, on Sunday, July 23 23023, at home with his Son, Lewis, and Daughter-in-law, Denise. Norm can now join the love of his life, his wife, Berta and they can dance the night away once again.

Norm had a distinguished military career, spanning from 1944 – 1976.
1944 – Merchant Marines, USS Cornell, SO
1948 – Wisconsin Air National Guard, aircraft mechanic
1950 – Wisconsin Army National Guard, helicopter mechanic
1957 - Wisconsin Air Guard, retiring 1976, Instructor Flight Engineer

The family would like to thank the staff at Shorehaven Retirement Community for their loving care. A BIG shout out to his cherished friends at the VFW Post 2260, Oconomowoc. He really enjoyed sharing a cool glass and kind word with you, even if he did always want to start a fight. Finally, a special THANK YOU to Tom and Jeanne Thomas. You brought joy to his life with your daily calls, ice cream cones after the retirement luncheons, and the thousands of postcards from all over the world (he saved them all).

Norm was known for his great sense of humor, stories of his world travels, and his remarkable ability to hum in eight different languages. He was a patriot, a loving husband and father, and a good friend to anyone fortunate enough to have met him. He will be missed by many!
