Otto Kovacs Sr. Passed away August 20, 2026 at the age of 93.
Otto was born in Szombathely, Hungary July 12, 1933 to Gyula and Katalin Kovacs.
He married Katalin Pahy on December 9, 1956 in Austria. Together, they came to the US in January 1957. They had a few moves then settled in Milwaukee to raise their family. They remained married for 67 years, until her death in 2025.

Over the years, Otto has worn many hats. Champion boxer, Hungarian Army, Freedom Fighter, US Army, Master Mechanic and friend. The hats he loved most were Husband, Father and Grandfather.
His grandchildren were a constant source of pride for him

Otto leaves behind his children; Otto Jr., Kathy (Butch), Victor (Alicia), Maria (Jason). He also leaves his grandchildren; Joel (Louisa), Henry (Molly), Katie (Nate), Adam, Austin and Maggie.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Katalin, his parents, his many siblings and his dear granddaughter Shannon.
