Obituary

Patrick Brady Lemont, a resident of Whitefish Bay for 43 years, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born in Milwaukee on April 22, 1948, to James and Margaret (Brady) Lemont, Pat was the second of four sons. He grew up in Milwaukee’s Upper East Side and Shorewood, attending St. Robert’s Grade School before graduating from Shorewood High School in 1966.

Pat was active in multiple sports throughout his school years, developing a lifelong love of athletics. He also formed friendships that would last a lifetime, remaining close to childhood friends from grade school and classmates from high school. After graduation, he attended the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where he was a fraternity member. He graduated in 1971 with a degree in history.

On April 28, 1973, Pat married the love of his life, Annette (Majerle), in Sheboygan. Together, they began raising their family and moved to Whitefish Bay in 1983, where they made their home for the next four decades.

Following college, Pat began his career in the life insurance industry. After working for several companies, he spent many years with AIG, where he rose to the position of Regional Vice President. Along the way, he developed lasting friendships with many of his colleagues.

Pat was an avid golfer throughout his life and a longtime member of Tripoli Country Club, River Club of Mequon, and later, Brown Deer Men’s Golf Club. He took every opportunity to get out on the course, enjoying not only the game but also the camaraderie and many friendships that grew from it. Beyond golf, Pat was a devoted fan of local baseball, football, and basketball teams, and he enjoyed following their seasons and tournaments.

Most importantly, Pat was a dedicated husband and father who truly cherished his family. Pat treasured the relationships he built throughout his life. From childhood friends, classmates and professional colleagues to his golf partners and loved ones, he maintained connections that spanned decades. His love of sports and his appreciation for good company were enduring parts of who he was. He was gregarious, funny, a true life-of-the-party, competitive, quietly kind, and brought a smile to everyone who knew him.

Pat is survived by his beloved wife, Annette; his daughter, Jesse; his son, Dan; his brothers, Mike, Jim and Tim; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with the many friends whose lives he touched.

Pat was deeply loved and will be remembered with affection by all who knew him. His family and friends will cherish the memories they shared with him, and his presence will be greatly missed.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
