To condense a life into a brief synopsis is an impossibility. Decades of experiences, achievements, victories and defeats can't be expressed in a few simple paragraphs, but necessity compels:

A loving wife and mother to three children, Patti Hansburg (Nee Kesselring, born June 29th, 1952) was also a cherished daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, grandmother and mother-in-law. A beloved fixture in the lives of many, she additionally leaves behind scores of dear friends and work acquaintances.

Working as a nurse, Patti supported her family while simultaneously running her own childcare business. Later, she co-founded a group home for the elderly, before retiring in 2019. Greatly anticipating her golden years, Patti was unfortunately stricken by breast cancer, which she bravely fought and conquered before facing the trials of an aggressive sarcoma. The assorted treatments, procedures and surgeries which followed left her body weakened, but she didn't for a moment give up hope for a return to normalcy. She was thrilled to meet her first grandchild, Shelby, in October of 2021, and wished to see her blossom. With many wonderful experiences on the horizon, Patti tragically lost her battle on December 9th, 2021, but will never be forgotten by all those graced by her bright spirit.

Patti would want to be remembered by others experiencing the things she loved. At your leisure, listen to an Elvis Presley or Cat Stevens/Yusuf album. Read a captivating novel by Daphne du Maurier, Ngaio Marsh or Agatha Christie. Watch an episode of Star Trek:The Original Series ("The Trouble With Tribbles") or The Twilight Zone ("Time Enough At Last"). Behold the beauty of lilacs in full bloom, delight in the sight of wild deer grazing and treat all animals with reverence. But, above all else, Patti would want you to keep your loved ones close to your heart and treasure the time you are granted with them.

Patti was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hansburg, parents Frank and Marion Kesselring, and sister-in-law Justine Kesselring.

Patti is survived by daughters Kelly Hansburg, Megan (Travis) Sebald and Kristen Hansburg, granddaughter Shelby Sebald, brothers Frank and Allan Kesselring, sisters Sue (Scott) Stillman and Anita (John) Klar, nieces Robyn (Isaac Brummer) Stillman, Jamie (Alex) Stillman-Kasten, Kailyn Klar and Ashley Kesselring, nephews Kevin Klar and Frank Kesselring, great-niece Harper Stillman-Kasten, step-niece Jessie (Scott) Buechs, step-nephew Timothy Jandron, numerous cousins, her late husband's sisters and their husbands, and many, many close friends.
