Peter William MurphyPeter was finally at peace surrounded by his family at home on September 16, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 24, 1987 to Dean and Debra Murphy. He is survived by his parents, wife Sarah Lind, brother Patrick (Kristen), niece Madeline, aunts Wendy Born and Debra Murphy, uncles Kenny, Larry (Barb), and Brian (Cindy) Murphy, cousins Sarah, Mandy (Dan), Kevin, Renelle, April, Matt, and Jessica, and by his dear friends J.P., Jeffrey, Noah, and Danny. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Arthur and Joy Carter, Gloria and Lou Mazurek, and George and Joyce Murphy, and his aunt Cindy. Peter was a professional photographer and videographer. He will be remembered for his award-winning photographic talent, his generous spirit, and his great hair. He was a gentle giant with a quick wit and dry sense of humor. He will be forever missed by his family and many beloved friends. The family would like to thank Dr. A. Linn from Columbia-St. Mary's and Drs. Charlson, Neilson, and Bedi, nurses Julie, Karen, Jill, Melissa, Leah, Cory, and many, many, others at the cancer center at Froedtert for their loving care.In lieu of a traditional funeral Peter requested a celebration of his life and work. His family and friends will celebrate his life on Sunday, October 1st, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Bass Bay Brewhouse/ Aud Mar Banquet Hall, S79W15851 Aud Mar Drive, Muskego.
