Obituary

With love and honor, we pay tribute to the life of Peter Sanchez Jr., who went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 17th, his 53rd wedding anniversary, surrounded by his family and friends who had been lifting him up in prayer.

Peter was a man of faith who loved God and wanted everyone to know about Jesus. He was kind, lighthearted, forgiving and had a desire to help others.

Peter was positive, funny, and fun to be around. Kids and animals were drawn to him. He was smart, a natural problem-solver, and could fix just about anything.

Music was woven into every part of Peter's life. A gifted trumpet player and drummer, he filled his home with praise and worship, and rock and roll. Even through challenges in recent years, he never lost his personality or his love of food. Peter loved his country and proudly served in the National Guard from 1965-1971.

Above all, Peter was a devoted husband, a protective and loving father, and the perfect "girl dad." He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sunny (Kloskowski); his daughters, Tracy Sanchez and Tammy Sanchez (Steve Wells); his grandchildren, Kane and Remy Wells and his best friend, Austin Klein. He is also survived by his sisters, Genevieve Brown and Linda Sherman.

John 11:25 "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die."

The family will receive visitors to share condolences and memories on Thursday, June 26, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at The Family Center at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13037 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005. A memorial service will begin at 10:45 a.m., with lunch to follow.
