Phyllis M. Rafalski –Passion for nursing and a gift for healing everyone. Born May 8, 1925 and Arrived Home March 7, 2013. She cared about and for everyone she came in contact with. She worked as a nurse at St. Luke & St. Francis Hospital. Fought for women's rights and civil rights. Her sewing hobby led her to teaching others to sew and each year she would sew several beautiful and unique First Communion dresses for children in the community. Every Saturday she would bake loaves of bread and give them to others. If you were hungry, she would feed you. If you were sad, she would hug you. If you were wounded, she would bandage you. And if you were happy, she would be thrilled with sharing in your joy. Beloved wife for 75 years of Melvin E. Rafalski. Mother of Ronald Rafalski, Randolph Rafalski, Patricia (Kevin) Davison, Sandra (Phillip) Hamm and Timothy (Karen) Rafalski. Grandmother of Christopher (Carrie) Schmidt and Great Grandmother of Nathaniel Schmidt. Visitation: 4-6 PM at the funeral home. Prayer service directly following visitation.
