Mrs. Priscilla Ann Higgins (nee Reeves) , of West Bend, WI, daughter of the late Mrs. Clarabelle Welf and Mr. John Reeves of Colby WI, departed her earthly home Saturday, April 21st, 2012, at The Kathy Hospice located on the campus of Froedtert Health St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend, WI. A former resident of Ozaukee Co., Washington Co., and of Pahrump, NV. On December 5th, 1959, she married James P. Higgins, in Butler, WI. Pat was a dedicated wife, a loving mother and a full-time housewife. Although she held various jobs, Pat devoted most of her time to raising her family. She loved to cook for large groups of family and friends. She enjoyed dancing, particularly square dancing with the Port Washington Square Benders group, and she loved polkas. Pat, with her husband Jim, spent time on the road "living the RV lifestyle". She also enjoyed playing cards; games like Solitaire, Canasta, Pinochle and Sheepshead. More recently Pat became obsessed with a dice game her daughter taught everyone, called Greed. Pat loved watching old westerns on TV and listening to music. She liked old country songs, polka music and folk singer Daniel O'Donnell. Lately she had taken on a new hobby, coloring with colored pencils and sharing her projects. Mrs. Higgins is survived by her husband James of Pahrump, NV; and her children, Cynthia Geib of Port Washington, Wendy (Frederick) Meyer of Saukville, Jo Ann (Todd) Schmidt of West Bend, WI; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother Bruce Reeves of Pahrump, NV; sister Dorothy (Albin) Kunda of Franklin, WI; a brother-in-law, Gerald Higgins, a sister-in-law Susan (Joseph) Hayes of Wisconsin Dells; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Higgins was preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Chester, James, Carl, and Richard; her sister Hazel Corso; and several sisters-in-law; other relatives and friends.
