In lieu of flowers, memorials to The American Cancer Society or Notre Dame of Maryland University, 4701 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21210, are appreciated   Mom was originally from Baltimore, MD, and a 53 year resident of Brookfield. She was a math teacher, business owner, accountant, and of course, Mom. She wants to be simply remembered as the mother of 5 and grandmother of 8. But her impact on Brookfield, her church, neighbors and friends is evident in the long list of visits, calls, and outpouring of love over the past weeks. She took on her illness as she did most everything else in life, with purpose, acceptance and concern for others. She was always a friend, able to talk to anyone with genuine interest, as if she had known them a long time. Her values of family, responsibility, character, hard work, enjoyment will carry on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and probably many that we don't even know. Jean, Mom, Nana, Mrs Ruzicka Mrs Kinnich, all names for one person now at peace with God in Heaven.
