Regina Schmid (nee Trzecinski)Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at age 89.  Preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, James W. Schmid, and parents Frank and Rose Trzecinski; siblings Theresa Kosut and Harry, Stanley, Frank, and Eddie Trzecinski.  Will always be in the hearts of her children Kristine (Gregory) Nadolny, Daniel (Sharon) Schmid, and Robert (Margaret) Schmid.  Special "Mom" to Shelley Robles (Tony).  Proud Grandma to Nicholas (Melissa), Joseph, Trisha (Franz) Tracy, Katherine (Ryan) and Rebecca.  Great-Grandma of Henry, Ava, Max, Zachary and Benjamin.  Sister-in-law of Richard (Clarice) Schmid and the late Thomas Schmid.  Special aunt of Dorothy Webster, Richard Kosut, Elaine Wagner, and Ken Kosut.  Best lifetime friend of Dolly Stecker.  Reggie was loved by many.  Throughout her life, she had many special friendships and loved to celebrate.  She was generous with her time and kind with her words.  Reggie and Jim were exceptionally devoted to each other, their children, and family.  Reggie was a charter member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and spent countless hours volunteering, working, and teaching religious education classes for elementary children.  She loved to bake and always shared her delicious apple cake, kolaches, or coconut cream pie with friends and family.  Our family would like to thank Dr. Ahmed Malik for his expertise and compassionate care of Mom, as well as the exceptional staff of Vitas Hospice in Wauwatosa. Visitation Friday, March 4th, 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Rd, Hales Corners.  Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, March 5th at 10:00am, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 3722 S. 58th Street, Milwaukee, followed by a procession to Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Memorials to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Food Pantry are appreciated.
