Rhoda I. SherwoodDied on July 8 at age 75. She is survived by her husband David Buckholdt, her sister, Myrna Dickinson, two brothers, Orrin David and Clayton Sherwood, step-sons Michael and Mark Buckholdt and eight nieces and nephews and their children. Rhoda earned a doctorate in English literature from UWM, taught at Alleghany College and Marquette University, and served as managing editor for two publications at Kalmbach Publishing, Astronomy and Earth magazines. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 1100 N. Astor, Milwaukee. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
