Richard Harry Cummisford Of Franklin, WI, January 9, 2019, age 88 years. Born December 29, 1930. Beloved and faithful husband of the late Marilyn Cummisford for 66 years. Loving father of Susan (George) Hermersmann, Cathy (Bob) Troyer, Mark Cummisford (Sherry), Claudia (Jeff) Puschnig, and Laura (Carl) Haase. Further survived by 11 grandchildren: Sheila Hermersmann, Scott Hermersmann, Sheri (John) Martin, Jennifer (Jarrod) Mikulecky, Daniel (Katie) Troyer, Michael Troyer, Abigail Cummisford, Ethan Cummisford, Nicholas Puschnig, Christopher Haase, Kyla (Joe) Goede; 8 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Richard was a star athlete at West Division High School (40's), minor league catcher for Topeka Owls (50's), Railroad Reservist (60's), Milwaukee Road railroad engineer through the (70's), a Ladish machinist (80's), and a machinist at Printing Equipment Services until his retirement (90's). Dad took care of everyone, especially with food and blankets. "You are never poor if you have a warm blanket." Dad was also known for his generosity and friendliness towards everyone he met.
