Age 64. Passed away March 13th, 2020 suddenly after a brief illness. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Vincent & Louise Erler and his grandparents. Survived by his loving sister Diane, her husband Perry and their three children, Jenni, Tim and Nick (Hannah). Richard will also be missed by his friends here and afar.

Richard was a lifelong resident of Milwaukee. He was a former employee of Joy Global. Richard had a strong fondness for music and festivals which he enjoyed with his friends throughout the summer months.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the medical staff at St. Luke's 8th floor ICU for making his last days comfortable and peaceful especially his nurses Chrissy for sharing her music and Sue for making his passing more peaceful.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, or attend one of Milwaukee's many summer festivals and enjoy some classic rock in Rick's honor.
