Richard E. Fischer., passed away at his home on August 22, 2014, at the age of 78 surrounded by his family. Richard put up a courageous fight against cancer. Richard is survived by his wife Barbara (of 57 years), and by two sons, Thomas and William (Robbin) and daughter, Karen LaPorte. He is also, survived by his loving sister, Judith Krohn (Jerry). Richard is the proud grandfather of five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, plus he will be greatly missed by nieces and nephews whom were very close to him.A memorial service will be held, Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at West Granville Presbyterian Church on North 107th Street in Milwaukee. Family will greet friends from 5:30 p.m. to time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to West Granville Church.
