Richard P. Mroczkowski, Born into Eternal Life, passed peacefully on March 22, 2014 at the age of 81. Preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Marie (nee Gawronski) Mroczkowski. Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Staszak) for 57 years. Loving father of Sherry (Wayne) Wanta, and Mike (Jenny) Mroczkowski. Second dad to Barb (Wayne) Linder. Wonderful grandpa to Ashley (Andy), Kelley (Rusty), Kristina (Kyle), and Nick (Nicole). Great-grandpa to Talen, Peyton, and Tanner. Dear brother of Dr. Lennie (Harriet) Marx, and the late Dorothy (Ralph) Sowinski. Brother-in-law to Evelyn (Cedric) Grilli and Marie (Ralph) Bogacki. Godfather to Debbie Starz and Rick Grilli. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Richard was retired from the Ladish Company after 42 years of service. Polka music was a big part of his life in which he played the concertina. In honor of his Polish heritage, please wear something "red". He suffered from Alzheimer's Disease for many years. Special thanks to all of his caretakers of Mitchell Manor and Heartland Hospice. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Service to follow at 7 P.M., Dr. Lennie Marx officiating. Friends and family may meet at the funeral home Thursday, March 27th at 9:45 A.M. to process to St. Adalbert Cemetery for interment. We will all miss you Dad. You are the best!
