Passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017, at the age of 76. He is survived by Susan, his beloved wife of 50 years, and his sister Patricia (Joseph) Alonge. He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald (Diane), and his sisters Judith and June. Dear father of Danny (Ann), Kevin (Sarah), Leslie (Nicholas) Komp, and Lee (Brittany). Dear grandfather to 9 grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive him.Richard served his country as a member of the 1st Calvary Division of the United States Army during the Vietnam War and re-connected with fellow servicemen as president of the 1st Cavalry Division Association, Kettle Moraine Chapter. He was a draftsman at Falk Corporation and an Amway salesman.Visitation will be Thursday, 9-14-17, at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 West Janesville Road, Hales Corners 53130, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Richard was an avid reader. In lieu of ?owers; donations to Friends of the Muskego Public Library are appreciated.
