Age 87, died peacefully on January 24, 2018 after being cared for lovingly by the hospice staff at St. Camillus. Rita was preceded in death her husband Aloysius (Al), her son Kenneth, and her brother, John Heltmach. She is survived by her remaining children: Mary Ellyn Voden (Jim), Nancy Clark (Doug), James Treske (Jane), Michael Treske (Mitzi), and David Treske (Micky); her daughter-in-law Terry Treske; her twelve grand-children: Scott Treske, Paul Treske, Kevin Clark, Jason Clark, Sarah Treske Carter, Allie Treske Ahearn, Andrew Treske, Suzanna Treske, Aaron Treske, Rachael Treske, Eric Treske and Jordan Treske; nine great grand-children; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.Rita was born and raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1947. She married the love of her life, Al, on May 30, 1951. In 1968, Al and Rita moved their family to Greendale where they remained until their deaths. After Al's death in 2012, Rita lived independently at Harbour Village for almost 6 years. Rita was a kind, generous, and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the devoted matriarch of her family who provided guidance and support throughout her long life. Rita was a fascinating story-teller who could tell stories of her life with amazing clarity and recollection. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Visitation at Hartson Funeral Home on Sat., February 3, 2018 from 2 to 3 PM.
