Robert "Andy" Bunzel of Greendale, WI, passed away on February 28, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 63.
Andy was born on July 20, 1960 to parents Everett and Judith Bunzel. He grew up in Greendale, WI with his four brothers and one sister. His family moved to Hales Corners shortly before he entered high school. He spent the remainder of his years in the Bunzel family home in Greendale.
Andy was a proud and loving father to his daughter Jennifer (Bryan) Constantineau and "Grandpa Jeep" to his two grandchildren Tyler and Ashley Kurowski. He is survived by siblings Everett (Cathy) Bunzel II, Michael Bunzel, Kathy (David) Aguirre, Richard Bunzel and the late Theodore Bunzel.
He is further survived by nieces and nephews Elizabeth (Dan) Kurowski, Chrissy (Justin) Ankley, Everett (Brianne) Bunzel III, Adrianna, David, Felipe, and Gabriel Aguirre, Jude and Owyn Bunzel. Also, great nieces and nephews Luke, Samual, and Natalie Kurowski, Callie Bunzel, Theodore Ankley, and Everett Bunzel IV.
Andy, known to many of his friends as "Mick", was a dear best friend to Jim Kendellan, Don Raines, Bobby Pabich, and many, many more.
Andy was a long-time employee of Quad Graphics working as a pressman and had many cherished friendships with his coworkers.
His passions included spending time with his daughter, grandchildren, and family, fishing, golfing, watching the Green Bay Packers, Greendale village festivals and gatherings, and watching and feeding the various small animals in his backyard.
He enjoyed his annual birthday trip up north trip (Lakewood, WI) each summer with family as well as visits to Brown's Lake.
Andy loved rock music of the 70s and 80s. His all-time favorites were The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, REO Speedwagon, Supertramp, Queen, along with numerous others.
The family would like to thank St. Luke's Hospital for their care over the last few months, especially the nurses on the 12th floor and in the MRICU.
