Robert "Bob" Charles Hutchinson of Muskego, WI, found peace on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, with his beloved wife, Ellen, by his side.

Bob and Ellen met in high school and were happily married for 62 years. They traveled through life side by side, and thoroughly enjoyed each other's company. They enjoyed family vacations in the Northwoods when their kids were young and traveling out west after Bob retired. More recently, they enjoyed running errands around Muskego and chatting with their favorite physical therapist, bank tellers, hardware store employees, and other community members.

Bob was the loving father of Kellie (Scott) Hough, Rick (Dana), and Keri (Francis) Bongey, and the proud grandfather of Austin and Hunter Hough, Calvin Hutchinson, and Jake and Ryan Bongey. Some of Bob's favorite times were evenings at Birch Trail Resort during family vacations with the kids and grandkids. He was happiest when everyone gathered for dinner, card games, jigsaw puzzles, and conversation.

Bob is further survived by his brothers-in-law James Scheunert and Robert (Jann) Schwalbach, sister-in-law Mildred Cybulski, and many nieces and nephews.

Bob had a passion for history and could always be found with a book or a word search puzzle. Add a cup of coffee or a Diet Pepsi and he was a happy man.

Memorials to Shriners Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated. Bob's family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff of Aurora Zilber Family Hospice who provided him with compassionate care during his final days.

A visitation will be held at Hartson Funeral Home on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm, with the service at 7pm.
