Roy, Robert Roland (Rob)
Peacefully passed away January 20th, 2022 at the age of 88.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara Roy and brother Glenn (Skip) Roy. Loving father of Douglas (Michele), and Michael (Sharon). Loving grandpa of Ryan (Emily), Alex (Maggie), Peter, Jennifer, Elizabeth (James), Marshall, David (Sarah) and proud great grandpa to Doris, Beatrice, Sloane and Roland. Dear brother of Rita Wolf. Also loved by many relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Remember...when you hear thunder, think of Rob bowling with God's angels.
A visitation will be held at St. Florian's Parish, 1233 S. 45th Street, West Milwaukee on Saturday, February 19th from 11:00-12:00 with a Catholic Mass to follow. As a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict, Rob's military honors will be observed/bestowed at St. Florian immediately after Mass.
Private interment together with Barb at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorials to Milwaukee Homeless Veteran Initiative are appreciated.
