Passed to eternal life on August 6th, 2016 at the age of 66. Loving husband of 44 years to Susan (nee Pugens). Proud father of Brett, Dawn (Dennis) Boutris, and Holly (Eric) Joy. Dear grandpa to Ana, Nicholas, Daniel, Keira and Brixton. Brother to Fred (Shirley), brother-in-law to Ann Marie (Mike) Alvarez. Fond nephew to Aunt Aury and Uncle Dick. Also survived by supportive cousins, friends, and faithful companion Lacey. Bob, a former U.S. Marine, courageously faced a long illness, never gave up and continued to move forward despite the adversity he was faced with. He was a retired employee of A.O. Smith/Tower Automotive, where he worked for 35 years. A visitation will be held at Hartson Funeral Home on Thursday August 11th from 5 to 7:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. Final goodbyes will be held at the funeral home on Friday August 12th at 8:45 a.m. followed by a procession at 9 a.m. to Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 21731 Spring St. Union Grove, WI 53182. Committal services followed by military honors will take place at 10 a.m.
