Roger Scholbe
Beloved Farmer, Father, and Friend
Roger Scholbe, a hardworking farmer known for his unwavering worth ethic and joyful spirit, passed away on 7/28/2025 at the age of 81.
Born on 8/4/1943 in Waukesha, WI, Roger spent his life cultivating not only the land but the values of hard work, humility and a warm smile. A proud lifelong farmer, Roger tended his fields with dedication and purpose, taking joy in the rhythm of the seasons and the rewards of an honest day's work. He rose with the sun and met each day with a determined attitude paired with a positive resolve. For the bulk of his life, he faithfully ran the family farm and did it all with purpose and pride.
Roger was a 3rd generation member of St. Paul's Lutheran in Muskego, an active member of the growing community, and a neighbor who could always be counted on for a helping hand or a lighthearted laugh. His playful personality created a positive experience with every interaction.
He is survived by his three sons: Wayne Scholbe (Susie), Jeffrey Scholbe (Michelle) and Andrew Scholbe. Roger's joy extended even further through his eight beloved grandchildren: Jenna (Aaron), Jacob (Rachel), Chelsea (Kyle), Brooke, Josh (Olivia), Jarod, Matthew and Joey Scholbe; and two cherished great-grandchildren: Tyler and Claire. Loved even further by siblings, Jacqueline (Robert) Schaumberg, Juliane Thiesenhusen and Janelle Gray.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd at St. Paul's Lutheran in Muskego from 11 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with a burial at Rural Home Cemetery in Big Bend. All are welcome to come celebrate the legacy of his good spirits.
His life was simple, sincere and full of meaning. Roger Scholbe will be remembered for his generous heart, and the deep roots he planted — in the soil, and in all of us.
