Of Wabeno, WI.  Found peace on October 26, 2014, at the age of 88.  Preceded in death by his beloved wife Adris "Adee", and his parents Harry and Carmen Verlinde.  Loving father of Nancy Verlinde-Meyer and Cindy (Richard) Kaczmarski.  Proud grandfather to Rick (Traci) Kaczmarski, Adam (Kristy) Kaczmarski, Kailey Meyer, Andrew Kaczmarski, and Jenna Meyer.  Loving great-grandfather to Austin and Aidan Kaczmarski.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Beloved best friend of Shirley Simonis.  Best buddy to Romeo, Ditch Kitty, Sasha, Indigo and Olivia.  Roland served our country in the United States Navy during World War II.  Retired from Wisconsin Gas Co. (WE).  Spent his retirement years living up North doing all his favorite things:  fishing, hunting, being with family and friends, and enjoying nature in all its wonder.
