Obituary

Rose M. (Polchert) Haugen passed peacefully at the age of 95 on July 25th. Rose was a devoted wife to Richard A. Haugen for 58 years. She is survived by her sons Richard Jr. (Lynn), David (Nadia) as well as her daughter Karen (Raul) Soto. Further survived by eight grandchildren Erik (Mandy) Haugen, Andrew Haugen, Allison Haugen, Cheyenne Haugen, Byron Haugen, Matthew Soto, Christopher (Brittney) Soto, and Samantha (Garrick) Johnson. In addition, Rose is survived by six great grandchildren. Rose was raised in Milwaukee as one of 14 children born to Joseph and Magdalene Polchert. Rose's two sisters Margaret Jennings and Barbara Letko also survive her.

Rose was a woman of faith, she loved her family and loved being with people. Her personality would fill up a room and make it brighter. We will miss her sense of humor, the great food she made, the support she gave freely to others, and the brightly colored wardrobe that she proudly wore.

Please join our family on August 20th 2021 to celebrate a life well lived at Christ King church 2646 N. Swan Blvd. in Wauwatosa. Visitation at 1:00 PM and service at 2:00 PM.

Please feel free to wear your finest leopard print or brightly colored attire.
