Age 65. Of Wauwatosa, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 27, 2017, surrounded by family. He retired after a life-long career at the phone company. Russell was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandpa. He's remembered as an amusing storyteller, talented wood worker, attentive gardener, and avid Menards customer. Survivors include wife: Sharon; three children: Kim (Jeff) Peil, Aaron (Liz), and Carrie; two grandchildren: Elijah and Lauralee, and two siblings: Janice Purins and Gary: other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Audrey. A private memorial will be held with immediate family at a later date.
