Holmes, Russell G. Passed away Dec. 2, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents Glenora and Russell E.. Holmes and brother Ken Holmes. Survived by his wife Carol (nee Gilles), children Leanne (Scott) Herder, Jeff, Sheri (Rick) Wanasek and Danny (Nancy); grandchildren Amanda, Andrew, Jacob, Macy, Alissa, Mark, Anthony and Kristina; sisters Brenda (Steve) Phillips, Gayle (Tim) Pikus; and sister-in-law Joan Holmes. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Russ worked in the private security business for 45 years. He was a member of the Coast Guard reserves for 9 years. Russ was an avid pheasant hunter. Russ courageously fought a 5 year battle with cancer and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.Visitation:Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 6, from 10AM to 12noonService:Service at 12noon.
