Ruth B. KurthAge 93, passed away on February 26, 2017.  She was a long-time resident of Muskego, but had been residing at Brenwood Park Assisted Living in Franklin, WI for the past year.  Ruth was born March 1, 1923 in Milwaukee, WI.  Ruth graduated from Bay View High School in 1940.  She then worked as a keypunch operator for the George J. Meyer Manufacturing Company for six years.  Ruth married Marvin Kurth in 1946.  They built their home in Muskego, WI and enjoyed 55 years of marriage until Marvin's death in 2002.  Ruth was an organist for over 50 years, serving St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Muskego.  She played for services, Girl's Choir, O.W.L.'s events, plus many weddings and funerals.  She was a wonderful seamstress and also enjoyed gardening and travel.  Ruth is survived by daughters Janice (Ron) Lehr of Iola, WI and Darlene Kurth of Muskego, WI; grandchildren Joseph and Michael Anders, Jonathan (Megan) Lehr, Jeffrey Lehr (fiancée Jennifer Richardson); great-grandson Mason Lehr.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents William and Erna Kapke, husband Marvin, sister and brother-in law June and John Wohler, and step-mother Arlein Kapke.  Visitation Friday, March 3, 2017, 4 to 6 PM, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, S66 W14325 Janesville Rd, Muskego.  Service at 6 PM.  A special thanks for the loving care given to Ruth by the Brenwood Park team and Heartland Hospice.  Memorials can be made to the church.
