Popinski, Ruth Josephine Passed away peacefully on July 26, 2011, at the age of 89, while living in Texas. She was born to Walter and Rose Dzioba on October 1, 1921, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb Popinski; her brothers Leonard, Richard and Harold and by her beloved best friend and sister, Eleanor. She is survived by her sons, Michael and daughter-in-law, Kathleen; John and daughter-in-law, Linda; and Herb ("Chris Collins") and daughter-in-law, Leah. She is also survived by her brother Bob Swift, and sisters Caroline Muhltaff and Jean Ahlf. The joys of her life were her grandchildren Jennifer Wittorp, Laura Lawrence, Bob Popinski, Summer Gafford and Allison Thomas, and her great-grandchildren Max and Megan Wittorp, Isabella and Nathan Lawrence, Jonah Popinski and Mason Gafford. Ruth also had a multitude of nieces and nephews both family line and "adopted." Special thanks is given to her niece Mary Peshman for her loving care.
