Obituary
Ruth Ruffin (nee Sanders) 98, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024.
Ruth was born in Mammoth Cave, KY on July 31, 1926 to parents Samuel Joseph and Essie Bell Webb Sanders.
She married Howard Johnson Ruffin on June 12, 1948, in Louisville, KY and had three children Richard Allen (Jeanne), Robert Lee and Shirley Kaye. They moved to Milwaukee in 1961, due to Howard finding work here as an electrician.
She is preceded in death by her husband Howard and son Robert. She has four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
After direct cremation at Hartson Funeral Home her ashes will be in the Sanders Cemetery Leitchfield, KY, on land which was the farm she grew up on and her father donated to the church.
She will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
