After a courageous two year battle with COPD, Sandy finally found peace on Friday, July 2, 2021 at the age of 81 years. Sandy was born in Belle Fourche, South Dakota on December 19, 1939. The beloved daughter of Albert and Frieda (nee Rothermel) Simpson.

On October 26, 1963 Sandy was united in marriage to William Karl Eggert, Jr. Together they raised four children, Heidi Ann Anderson of Mequon, Michael Jon (Katrina) Eggert of West Allis, Wendy Kay (Tyler) Nyborg of Mauston and Jeffrey William Eggert of Franksville. Sandy was the proud, fun loving and sassy "Nonny" of Nicholas (Jacklyn) Anderson, "Bah" of Alyssa Schroeder and William and Margaret Eggert. "Grandma" of Travis, Kaden, Jona, Jordan, Dawson and Aaron Nyborg. Great Nonny of Theodore and Isla Anderson and Great Bah of Luna Norton. Sandy is also survived by her loving sisters Janice (the late Gary) McCann of Caledonia and Sheryl (the late Harry) Johnson of McKinleyville, CA. She is further survived by nieces, Kelley (Dave) Mitchell, Kris McCann and Stacey (Jason) Eads; nephews Kendall (Cathy) McCann, Kyle (Marnie) McCann, Brett (Tracy) and Marc Johnson and many cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Sandy was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill on December 13, 2010.

A Celebration of Sandy's life will be held at her home on Saturday, July 31 at 3:00 PM. Please come ready with a story or memory of laughter shared.
