Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our sister Sheila Rae Miller. She was a sibling, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, godmother, cousin and friend to many.

Sheila was born on September 8, 1936, to Raymond C. and Angeline C. (nee Tarkowski) Miller, the oldest of six siblings.

She attended Pulaski High School and MATC. She was employed at Briggs and Stratton for 31 years and retired on July 1, 1986. She later worked for Ewald Automotive Group and Enterprise Leasing for many years.

Sheila was a beacon of love and selflessness. Sheila's greatest love was her family. She was a caretaker by nature and she had an abiding love and devotion to her family and friends. She was cherished by all, bringing joy and warmth to all who knew her.

She remembered all her nieces and nephews' birthdays with a card and her siblings with a visit, a call and a card. She was always ready to give someone a ride to shop, to an appointment, to drop off and pick up at the airport, or to stop over and feed someone's pet until owner would return. She loved traveling and seeing new places.

Sheila faced her illness with grace and dignity. She passed peacefully at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice, Wauwatosa, WI. She is survived by her brother Bradley (Kathleen) Miller, her sister Cynthia (James) Pepper, eight nieces and nephews, 13 great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

She is rejoined in heaven with her beloved parents, Raymond C. and Angeline C. Miller, her sister Karen Kania, her brothers Bruce and Bryan Miller and nephew David Miller.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Aurora St. Lukes and Aurora Zilber Family Hospice for their tender care and kindness to Sheila during her hospitalization.

As we bid farewell to Sheila, please join the family on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 West Janesville Road, Hales Corners, WI, 53130, with visitation from 1O am to 12 pm and service at 12 pm, with internment at Mt.
